A Lesson on D

Updated: Jul 25, 2025

Did you know the first Dildo dates to 30,000 years ago? They have been around for thousands of years yet discussing Dildos is still a bit of a taboo today. I grew up in a Latin and very traditional household in which we did not openly discuss sex let alone sex toys. However, the Dildo has been around for thousands of years. The oldest Dildo was found in a cave in Germany, the Greeks used them, Shakespeare wrote about them, and into my early twenties I had no clue what a Dildo was or how to use it ha ha. Nowadays, Dildos come in different shapes, sizes, colors and materials. They allow women (all genders) to explore their sexuality and may also help couples add extra fun to their playtime.

The first Dildo was made of siltstone, ouch! Now we can find Dildos that have a very realistic feel to them primarily made of silicone. The Greeks made Dildos out bread, I wonder if that caused a yeast infection?! Luckily, we can now find Dildos made of eco-and-bodily-friendly materials that will not hurt our vulva or that of a loved one.

Whether you enjoy using a Dildo in solo play or with your lover, Dildos are a great way to explore your sexuality. I have small a collection; some I like better than others. You want to learn more? Check out my vlog.
