The Beehive; A Pleasure Cave

In the early part of 2024, my hubby and I decided we wanted to create a space for ourselves to enjoy adult time. Our daughter is getting older, and we felt it was necessary to create space to enjoy “adult time” away from the main house while also giving our daughter the space a teenager needs. So many couples lose themselves in the everyday life of being a parent, professional, friend, son, daughter, etc. and forget to make time for themselves. Unfortunately, some couples even forget to make time for their sex life/ intimacy, and this very often leads to divorce.

We did our research and found an amazing company that builds some very cool ADU’s aka as PODs (HOHM: hohm.life). We started the process of creating our sex sanctuary/pleasure cave. I must say, this was such a fun project. We worked as a team to find the furnishings for our Beehive and got inspiration from a show on Netflix called, “How to Build a Sex Room.”

Every single piece that went into our POD was carefully selected and so much love went into creating our very own sexy pleasure cave. We now enjoy fun nights in our Beehive, worry free of the kid in the house listening in or walking in on us. The Beehive has also become my workspace for my coaching practice and content creation. A total win!!!!

If you would like some ideas or guidance on how to create your very own pleasure cave reach out to me. Pleasure caves don’t have to be expensive. You don’t necessarily have to build an ADU in your backyard. Your very own sex sanctuary can be in your own bedroom, spare room, garage, or shed.
